I'm very tired of our companies being owned by distant "companys", especially if it's a company out of our country.

Your spinning looks lovely and I'm itching to get back to it. I should start a 10min a day program. I probably could squeeze that in. ;)

Miss ya and wanted you to know I'm catching up on your blog and that I didn't drop off the face of the earth completely!

Hugs to all

We live in scary times with businesses closing all over the place. It seems like no one cares about anything except profits any more. It is a sad situation we are in.

I hope that the company finds a way to stay locally owned. It's so discouraging to have big businesses be distant and indifferent to the communities they're in. Especially considering that that "distance" leaves them without conscience about relocating factories, jobs, etc. They just don't see the impact that they have, nor do they care so long as their profit margins look good.

Puesta Del Sol is absolutely beautiful and I think you did a fabulous job spinning it.

Take care and hugs, scritches, etc. to everyone there.

Good morning! My sounds track today so far has been Dylan and Jimi. Although your first couple of lines brought thoughts of Rare Earth and know I need to search them out.
Sadly the problem of takeovers has been going on in communities across this country for years. It never ends wells.
As Susan once said about a skien of my handspun..."It has moments or brilliance."

Ohh, I get the AB thing. It was bad enough when Miller was purchased by SAB, but now the Coors merger is gutting what was once one of the most thriving - and, yes, charitable - businesses in this community. The new corporate headquarters will not be in Milwaukee. People have no clue whether they'll have a job in two months, and if so, where they'll have to move. It stinks, big time.
