Poor little Grover. I’m probably being cruel, but he makes me laugh. The other day it was hot and he was sitting in the front door entryway watching the bunnies and squirrels torture him for fun. I walked past and noticed a huge slobber hanging from his mouth. I ran and got my camera and this is what I caught. It’s hard to see, but it’s visible hanging on the left (his left our right) side of his mouth near his tags. Isn’t that great? I took another picture. It’s bad of him, but it shows the slobber moving just before I caught it and wiped his mouth. Being a regular sort of a guy, he was surprised that I was messing with his face. He has trouble figuring me out sometimes.
A little knitting has taken place. I have worked on the “little pink scarf” a bit. It is growing ever so slowly, but growing. I will wind off the black/charcoal/white yarn I spun and set the twist. I’m tempted to toss the darned thing outside in the rain, but I’m quite certain that will come back and bite me in the butt, so I’ll refrain. I plan on spinning the yummy stuff Peanut gave me next. That, and a few other goodies. I’m getting a surprise (ok, it’s not a surprise, I ordered it) from Minnesota soon. That will be spun for a shawl. The soon to be (that’s a joke) luscious “JESAS” shawl (Just Elegant, Sumptuous, And Soft). Stay tuned. I still need the roving and I need to start the spinning, but it’s gonna happen;-)
My soundtrack for the day? One of the most macabre songs I have ever known (and loved), Peggy Lee and “Is that all there is?”
You have a good one!!!

Awwww….such a sweet face.
I’ve got “If You Want Me” from the Once Soundtrack in my head. I don’t really like it much. Peggy Lee will be a much better choice.
He really does have a sweet face – such a cutie, even with all the drool
I finished my dishcloth for instant gratification of finishing a project in the hopes it would pick my knitting mojo up. It did, so I picked up my monkeys and started working on that again… until last night when I went to my knitting group and messed up the pattern and spend my evening taking it out. Monkey knitting will now be banned at knit nite for me hahah
I need to finish these socks before I go on vacation so that I can start something new!
Grover is precious! We all drool at one time or another… it’s endearing. Right? Please tell me it’s endearing. I can’t wait to see pictures of your spinning.
Sissy wants to assure you drool is indeed endearing, worth sharing, and nothing to be ashamed of.
Spinning? I want to spin, but I can’t even seem to make time to try wheels one more time so I can buy one!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Grover is a sweetie! Give him a slobbery kiss from my Emma, Tara & Cooper!
Grover is so cute! Yes, we all drool at one time or another. Give him a big hug for us.
