Rilly. Fershur. And, I’m so happy. I’m doing a happy dance. And, I’m singing really loud. Join me!! It’s fun! And, it’s FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let’s go to Tiffany’s and watch MTV. Here’s Toni Basil and “Hey Mickey”
Last night, being really really tired and not interested in much, I did some spinning. It is so soothing. I’m still working on the roving that I had started before I got the beautiful gray as my birthday pressie from Margene. It is called Desert Sunset and it is so pretty, but it has short locks, so it’s hard to get a good rythmn going. Still, it is beautiful spun up and I imagine it will be lovely when it is plyed. I am also in the planning department of another shawl from the pressies I got from Heide.
But, I am also keenly aware that I need to finish things. There is also a huge boredom problem. I am bored to death of simple plain vanilla socks. I am so bored that I took this and …………………

ripped it and will start over with a picot hem and take it from there. See? I’m really bored. Please don’t have a boring weekend. Soon the flowers will be blooming and we’ll all be sneezing and outside. It’ll be great. Until then, knit , spin and have fun. Have a party. Celebrate the phases of the moon or something. Have a terrific weekend!!!!
Here’s my man, Joe Cocker and “The Letter”. You didn’t think I’d leave you with the other one in your head, did you?
Remember the Boxtops doing The Letter? If it doesn’t grow, it goes! The sock will be much less boring with picot hems.
Happy Friday, my friend!
You have no idea how much I appreciate you putting in that second tune :^)
…but the colours, didn’t they keep you somewhat entertained?
Happy Friday, Sweets, and Happy Weekend!
I’m loving my picot hem – I also did an eye of partridge heel on my sock, just to keep things fun! Pretty sock yarn!
i prefer the boxtops version of the song. i loved it when i was a kid!
