I know others in blogland have had horrible rain, so I’m not really complaining, just whining. After over 24 hours of it, I’m a tad sick of it. It has lost its charm and it is annoying as hell. The bad part is that it will turn quite coldy/cool when it moves out. I know. Poor me. It’s so sad. Boo hoo. HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!! IT’S STILL FRIDAY!!!!!!!! IT DOESN’T MATTER.
And, I might work today and I might not. My life is so exciting. There is a woman at work who has health issues (most of them self-inflicted, but that doesn’t make it any less sad) and she has difficulty getting to work. She has been off all week. She told my boss that she would “try” to be there tomorrow, but my boss was worried that he would be stuck doing her stuff, so he asked me if I wanted to work. I said “Hell. No. I don’t need the money. HAHAHAHAHAHA”. Well, not really. I said “Sure!”. So, if I hear from him before 7:00 a.m., I will be going in.
And, on Saturday, I have a wedding to attend. It promises to be fun. I adore the bride. and the groom is a very old friend. Second wedding for both. After that, I have cleaning and pup-walking and all kinds of fun and games. #1 being to get out my cold weather clothes. I wore a pair of socks my BSIL knit for me yesterday. So warm. So comfy.
Do you have fun things planned? Huh? So many have huge events coming up. I am hoping to have a bit of a respite from huge things. Ya know?
So, since I don’t have a picture of anything (even the pup), I will leave you to begin your weekend with The Band and “Cripple Creek”. An all-time favorite of mine. Damn. I love this!!!

The band was one of my favorite groups. I love to hear their music on the radio…it’s great stuff.

Sounds like you have a fun Saturday! and I don’t know about you but I rather enjoy getting the long sleeved shirts, sweaters, etc out, front and center. I’ve been wearing wool socks most of this week, feels so good.
Yep. With you on loving The Band and this particular tune. In a past life I took up the bass and this was one of the tunes I learned and performed. seriously fun times.

I wish I can send over some of the nice, cool-in-the-AM-but-fall-warm-in-the-afternoon weather your way. This being a 3 day weekend and a pretty nice one at that, I’ll be going to the pumpkin patch to bring home some pumpkins, because you have to take advantage of the dry days in October here (as in it’s not fun walking through a sticky, muddy pumpkin patch most of the time)
