Keep on Tryin’

I got nothin’ today.  I’m fine.  Mom’s ok.  Grover is well and Esau Marie is in fine voice.  I don’t have any pictures or anything cool like that.

I am still knitting away on the warm colored legwarmers.  I want to finish one pair right now.  I can worry about the other pair later.  At least she’ll have one pair, right?   I picked up Thing II of the Cosmo Cardi last night and knit for about 10 minutes.  I was too tired to do much of anything.

Mom and I drove over to get a new finch feeder yesterday.  I took the day off work.   We enjoyed the beautiful day.  It was in the 70’s and sunny and bright and she needed to get out.  I think she enjoyed it.  I know I did.  Now, our feeders are up and full.  The birds are getting very hungry.

So, since I’m dull as dirt, I will leave you with Poco.  I saw them at Francis Field House at Washington University when I was in college and I L.O.V.E. them.  Enjoy “Keep On Tryin”

Have a good one!

POCO!!! I met Poco at a party after their concert in 1969 and we all sat under the dining room table (the house was so full of people it was the only place we could find to sit). Rusty Young taught me who Hank Williams was and later that night Richie Furay sang a song about his new wife Annie. It was a memorable night!

Dear, you’re never, ever dull as dirt. In fact, you never fail to delight and/or move me with your rambles and your tunes.
I’m glad you had the day off :^)

Sounds like a great day off and the little birdies got something nice out of it too.

I’ve been knitting on that wrap so much that my arms feel like they’re getting a workout. Whodathunk I can have great biceps just holding WIPs in my lap and knitting? 😉
