Ten on Tuesday……NOT

I am so not able to do a ten on Tuesday today.  Currently, I have the attention span of a gnat.  I spent the past Saturday and Monday (Sunday I took off because I was really really tired) moving the living room furniture and sorting and cleaning.  Lots of junk and time, but oh my, it is looking so much better.  Now, there are no wires for Mom (or me) to trip over.  There is no coffee table in the middle of the living room to make it harder for her to maneuver.  The pup loves it.  He can lay smack dab in the middle of the living room rug and watch us both.  Esau Marie has decided that the move is acceptable because her sofa (she gets the entire thing) is still comfy and warm and she can keep an eye on both of us as well.

I tried to knit last night, but dang, I was tired.  I knit for about 1/2 hour and gave up.  Too tired.  It just seemed to be too much.  Today, we go to the doctor and then to lunch and then home so she can nap.  Then, tomorrow, I go back to work.  She’ll be happy to see me go.  Grover will be happy to see me go.  Esau Marie doesn’t care.

So, since all I have is cleaning and sorting and moving furniture, I will leave you once again with my soundtrack for today.  My all-time favorite REM song “The One I Love”

Have a good one!

Love that song, too. REMs new CD is very good, too.
You did all that yourself! That’s quite a lot, no wonder you’re tired! Take care!

    Yep, that’s a Great tune!
Mercy, woman. That’s quite the Sunday and Monday.
I hope you get some quiet personal time this afternoon while your mum is napping and no doubt Grover will keep his eye on her or on you.
Have a sit down, enjoy the new space, maybe even knit yourself into a wee nap.

You are one smart woman. Making these changes now, when the AD is still mild so your Mom can still adapt easier to change. Even rearranging furniture can cause confusion for my Mom now.

Looks like you’ve got quite a bit done and everyone is pleased.

I’m knitting like a madwoman, trying to finish my mom’s wrap by the end of the week so that I can stay on top of my holiday knitting. Gah!

I’m glad that you were able to make everyone happy… but don’t hurt yourself doing it. I wish we lived close enough for coffee and knitting/spinning dates. Hugs to everyone.

Whew – that’s a lot of work! Glad it turned out well. At least Maggie is willing to share the sofa with us, even though we do sometimes have to scootch her over a bit 😉
