Random Wednesday.

Hello, one and all. I hope this morning finds you well and rested. Everything else is mental, right? As for me? I’m fine and dandy and adjusting to life on the edge.   Of course, I’m not alone here so there is no reason to whine or complain.

I am sharing pictures of the babiez today because I have taken none of either one for, like, ever.   Grover was at playcamp on Monday and hurt his pittypat (paw for the uninitiated in “Nauseatingly Cute Pet Talk”) and the manager was sent out to report to me.   Now, I adore my dog.  I’m idiotic about him, but he is a dog and a boy dog and plays like boy dogs play.  Rough.  So, unless he was limping, crying or unable to walk, he was gonna have to walk it off or do laps.  We take no prisoners here at Chez KnitWonPurlToo.  Yet, I do feel for the poor guy.  Ms Stinky McFartbutt is the most annoying cat (little sister) in the world.   I’m not exaggerating here.   The minute he walks in the door she rubs him and walks under him (it has to tickle) and rubs under his chin (causing her perpetual slobbery spine condition).  He gives me these looks of desperation and I can’t really help him and when he growls at her I have to correct him.  Oh, the trauma and drama here.  It never ends.

The bathroom has come to a complete halt.  I look at the drywall and I think, “hmmm, I need to finish. ”   Then,  I walk away.   I will get back to it this week.  I have just wanted to be outside and enjoy the cool fall while it’s just cool.   I set my thermostat at 64 last night because the Stinky is so cold.  I was cocky.  I didn’t think it would go on, but it did.  So, I had to jump out of bed and turn it down more.  My old house is cooling off.   It has taken over a week now, but I’m still a bit surprised.   Ah, well.

To send you on your way, here is Otis Redding, gone too soon, with “Try a Little Tenderness”

Have a great Hump Day!!!!!

I agree with you that he can suck it up, but I do like that the manager came out to tell you. I think that’s a good sign.

Love the pix of the fur kidz! Toby gets that alarmed look every once in a while when Amber (white cat) is being unusually chummy 😉 Gotta love the cooler temps!

Yeah for the photos – I’ve missed seeing ’em 🙂 That’s so what a sister would do though, no? Being annoying and cute at the same time hehehe

We had such icky humid weather a few days ago – yuck! The leaves are turning and you can definitely feel the slight chill in the air – I’m ready for fall (and Halloween) 🙂
